The Society for Law and Politics in Health Care (GRPG) is a non-profit association that was founded in 1994 and aims for interdisciplinary exchange and scientific discussion in the fields of health care , social law and social policy in Germany.
aims
The GRPG wants to contribute to the further development of the health care system and is bringing together the expertise gathered in the GRPG in an interdisciplinary manner. The aim is to help shape opinion in the healthcare sector. The presidium of the GRPG includes representatives of doctors , dentists , pharmacists , representatives from the specialist professions in the health care sector and medical lawyers . Also represented are the manufacturers of pharmaceuticals and medical products , representatives of health insurance companies and private health insurance companies , the media, health policy and health economics as well as patients and consumers .
tasks
The GRPG regularly organizes symposiums and seminars on health policy and health law issues. In interdisciplinary working groups, current issues are discussed from a wide variety of perspectives. Young scientists are promoted by awarding a science award.
organs
The organs of the company are the general assembly, the presidium and the executive presidium, which is also the board of directors in terms of association law. General Secretary is Susanne Moser.
Honorary President
Honorary President of the GRPG is the founder of the company Alexander PF Ehlers , who headed the company from 1994 to 2015.
Bureau
The executive committee of the GRPG consists of the president Volker Ulrich and the vice-presidents Georg Marckmann , Jochen Taupitz and Eberhard Wille . Further members of the executive committee are general secretary Susanne Moser, secretary Bettina Brennecke, treasurer Gerhard Schulte and press spokesman Jürgen Stoschek.
