Gespenstergeschichten is a West German television series from 1985. Except for episode 4, In the Shadow of Doubt , the scripts were written by Rainer Erler . The theme song Ghost was composed and played by Guido & Maurizio De Angelis (Oliver Onions).

The six self-contained episodes are based on literary sources from the first half of the 20th century by six different authors. Each episode is introduced and ended by a narrator who is not named and portrayed by Wolfgang Büttner .
