The Gestas is a small river in France that runs in the Gironde department in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region . It rises in the northern municipality of La Sauve , drains in an arc from northwest over north to northeast and flows after 19 kilometers in the municipality of Vayres as a left tributary into the Dordogne . On its way, the Gestas crosses the Entre deux mers wine-growing region between the Garonne and Dordogne rivers .
