Get the F * ck out of my House ( GTFOOMH for short , English for Piss off my house ) is a reality show from the Netherlands that first ran there in 2016 on RTL 5 . The German-language version was broadcast for the first time on January 4, 2018 on the private broadcaster ProSieben .

The show is a competition between 100 participants who live in a house for a month. The candidates are allowed to leave the house, but also the show, at any time. The candidate who is the last to leave the house wins 100,000 euros.

Game concept

In a house that offers space for a maximum of four people, 100 candidates are followed by cameras around the clock. There are games in the house where the participants compete against each other and house rules that the candidates set themselves. The candidates are allowed to leave the house at any time, but they also end their participation in the show. The candidate who is the last to leave the house wins 100,000 euros. The participants have no contact with the outside world - electronic devices must be handed in before the start. Everyone is allowed to bring a collection box with memorabilia, hygiene items and clothing.

The show is compared with the reality TV format Big Brother under more stringent conditions.

season 1

The 45 women and 55 men from Germany , Austria and Switzerland who took part were between 19 and 82 years old. In the first episode, after seven expulsions and a number of voluntary pull-outs, 78 participants remained in the game, after the second episode, with five expulsions and further voluntary pull-outs, 51 participants remained in the game. After the third episode, there were still 35 participants in the house. After the fourth episode, there were 13 participants left to take part in the final. In the fifth and final episode (final) on February 1, 2018, candidate Oliver won the prize money of € 100,000.

season 2

96 candidates and four celebrities aged 18 to 58 participate in the second season. Nude model and It-Girl Micaela Schäfer moved into the house as the 101st “candidate” . She is actually not a candidate on the show, her job is to help the candidates "undress". She cannot be voted out and is not allowed to vote herself. There are a total of 53 men and 48 women. In the first episode, 30 of them voluntarily moved out and three were kicked out. In the second episode, nine voluntarily moved out and four were kicked out. Due to bad ratings for the first two episodes, ProSieben decided to shorten the season. From episode three, the programs got one hour more airtime, but two of the six planned episodes were canceled, so that the finale took place on April 30th. In the third episode, 34 candidates moved out, so that 21 qualified for the final. Also in the third episode, Micaela Schäfer left the house because she could no longer participate in the show because of a booking for an erotic fair. The second season, Get the F * ck out of my House, was produced in October 2018. During the fourth episode, the number of participants was reduced to 11 candidates who took part in the final. Candidate Guggi won the prize money of € 100,000.

Production
The show was produced in an empty house in the Mechernich district of Satzvey .

Before filming began, there were critical discussions at the meeting of the Mechernich city council due to the television project, as the production company had applied for a building permit due to the unusual use of a residential building. The parliamentary groups regretted the residents who were already bothered by regular events at the Satzvey moated castle . The building permit was granted because the production company assured that after arrival, filming would only take place inside the house.

season 2

For the second season, some changes were made - the season is now taking place in the previous house in Satzvey with 113 m² in a house in Mettmann , North Rhine-Westphalia, only 63 m² in size . There are also prominent candidates this season, such as the musician Martin Kesici , nude model and it girl Micaela Schäfer , model and Bachelor participant Saskia Atzerodt , rapper and Love Island participant Mike Heiter and Natalia, known from Adam sucht Eva Osada .

The season was broadcast on ProSieben from April 9, 2019 and again moderated by Jana and Thore Schölermann .
