The Amriswil industrial tower is an observation tower in the municipality of Amriswil in the canton of Thurgau .
The name refers to the fact that the tower was built for the centenary of the Amriswil trade association and financed by it.
situation
The tower, built in 2012 from wood (main pillars made of spruce , stairs made of larch ) is 19.5 meters high. 90 steps lead to the viewing platform at a height of 15.25 meters.
Various hiking trails lead from the surrounding villages to the observation tower in around 15-20 minutes.
The tower offers a panoramic view from Säntis in the south to Lake Constance in the north.
