Ghalymbek Schumatow ( Kazakh Ғалымбек Сағымбайұлы Жұматов Ğalımbek Sağımbaýulı Jumatov , Russian Галымбек Сагимбаевич Жуматов Galymbek Sagimbajewitsch Schumatow * 15. October 1952 in Ülgili , Ertis (area) , Pavlodar (area) , Kazakh Soviet Socialist Republic ) is a Kazakh writer , poet and journalist . He is a member of the Union of Writers of Kazakhstan .

biography

In 1979, Shumatov graduated from the Faculty of Journalism of the Kazakh State University. For a long time he worked for the regional newspaper Qizil tu (now Saryarka samaly ) in Pavlodar , where he first worked as a journalist, later as a department head and finally as a deputy editor. From 1991 to 1995 he was a national correspondent for the newspaper Halıq keñesi in the region Pavlodar . In 2007 he founded the weekly Shahar , the first newspaper in Pavlodar in the Kazakh language . He is currently the editor-in-chief of the literary magazine Nayzatas . His writing career began in 1980.
