Gheorghe Teodor Grozav (born September 29, 1990 in Alba Iulia ) is a Romanian football player .
Career
society
Grozav's career began at Unirea Alba Iulia in his hometown. In 2007 he came into the squad of the first team that played in League II at the time . In his first season he was able to score six goals in 15 games. He finished the 2008/09 season with his team in first place of his season and rose to League 1 . In the winter break of 2009/10 he was on a relegation zone with his club when the Belgian top club Standard Liège signed him. There he could not assert himself and remained during the 18 months in the 1st division without a goal. The 2010/11 season he was runner-up with Standard and won the Belgian Cup .
In summer 2011 Grozav returned to Romania and joined Universitatea Cluj . A year later he joined league competitor Petrolul Ploieşti . He won his first title with the 2013 cup . At the end of August 2013, he moved to Terek Grozny in the Russian Premjer League . It was rarely used there. At the beginning of 2015 he was loaned to Dinamo Bucharest for half a year .
For the 2017/18 season he moved to Turkey to the first division club Kardemir Karabükspor and only six months later to Bursaspor .
National team
Grozav was first appointed to the Romanian national team in May 2012 . In the friendly against Switzerland he was in the starting line-up on May 30, 2012 and scored the goal for the 1-0 victory. Since then he has been an integral part of the team and a regular in the storm until March 2013. He then only came on as a substitute.
