Giancarlo Perego (born November 25, 1960 in Vailate , Cremona province , Italy ) is an Italian clergyman and Roman Catholic Archbishop of Ferrara-Comacchio .

Life

Giancarlo Perego received on 23 June 1984 by the current bishop of Cremona , Enrico Assi , the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On February 15, 2017, Pope Francis appointed him Archbishop of Ferrara-Comacchio. The Bishop of Cremona, Antonio Napolioni , ordained him episcopal on May 6th of the same year . Co-consecrators were his predecessor Luigi Negri and Guerino Di Tora , auxiliary bishop in Rome .
