Gianni Bongioanni

Gianni Bongioanni (born August 6, 1921 in Turin , † January 21, 2018 in Rome ) was an Italian director .

Life

Bongioanni started working for RAI in 1952 ; he was responsible for organization and showed himself in his documentaries as a keen observer of the difficult everyday life in Italy. In the early 1970s he turned to fictional material and was responsible for some of the best television productions of the time, including Una donna based on the novel by Sibilla Aleramo . He remained connected to this profession until the new millennium. He shot for the cinema only once : in 1963 he created - based on his own script and in his own photography - with three of us a noir-style work, now forgotten, about Italian immigrants in Germany.

In 2008 he published the book Professioniste regista .
