Giannina Marchini
Giannina Marchini (married Vitti; born January 18, 1906 in Florence , † 1976 ) was an Italian sprinter and middle-distance runner .
At the Olympic Games in 1928, she was sixth in the 4-by-100-meter relay and was eliminated over 800 m in the preliminary run.
She was once Italian champion in the 400 m (1928) and in the cross country (1929). She set her personal best over 800 m of 2: 27.8 minutes on May 12, 1929 in Bologna .
