Giannis Gravanis (born January 16, 1958 in Domokos , † April 30, 2012 in Patras ) was a Greek football player and coach.
Career
Gravanis began playing football in his native Domokos before getting a professional contract with Panionios Athens in July 1977 . On January 10, 1978 he made his debut in the Alpha Ethniki , the top division in Greece. With his team he won the Greek Football Cup in 1978/79 . In 1982 he played three games in the squad of the Greek national football team . After 269 games for Panionios Athens, in which he scored 14 goals, he moved to Panachaiki in 1988 , where he was only under contract for one year and only played six games. In 1989 he moved to Patras, where he later ended his active career.
After his active career, he worked as a trainer at APS Fostiras Ovryas, Astrapi Psarofai, Achilleas Kamares, DP Oleniakos and AE Perivola.
He died of cancer on April 30, 2012 in Patras .
