Later he often worked as a voluntary nursing assistant in the Marienkrankenhaus in Ludwigshafen am Rhein .

From the Ruppertsberg elementary school, Rössler moved to the Altsprachliches Gymnasium in Neustadt an der Weinstrasse , which he graduated from high school in 1968. He completed his military service as a medical soldier . He studied music, geography, musicology and composition in Mannheim and Heidelberg . For 20 years he was the organist of the regular Esperanto services in the Afra Chapel of the Speyer Cathedral . He was an active member u. a. in the Esperanto World Federation (UEA), in the Working Group of Catholic Esperantists of the Diocese of Speyer, in the International Esperanto Teachers Association (ILEI), in the Akademio Internacia San Marino (AIS) and in the Internacia Scienca Akademio Esperantista (ISAE).
