With Gieselerwand a 2017-meter point in the from is Höfats trending northwest ridge referred to which dissolves to the northeast a burr with steep, brittle rock walls northwest to Lugen Alp drops.

There is no marked path to the Gieselerwand. The paths marked in the old Alpine Club map from 1906 have been in disrepair for many decades, as the Höfatsmähder, located southwest below the Gieselerwand, have not been cultivated since the Second World War .
