Ginger Baker's Airforce is a medium format jazz-rock-fusion super group formed in 1969. Baker disbanded the group in 1971 for economic reasons.

history

The band, initially planned as Tentett , released two albums; after a lengthy rehearsal phase, the debut album was recorded at their second concert on January 15, 1970 in London's Royal Albert Hall . In the meantime, however, other publications have appeared. In 1970 she appeared on the German music show Beat Club . The line-up changed frequently; Graham Bond and Baker were the only constant members.

Baker announced a reunion of the band in 2015; An Air Force 3 club concert was held in January 2016 . He canceled the other concerts planned for 2016 with the band in Great Britain and the USA for health reasons.
