Gintarė Skaistė

Gintarė Skaistė (born August 4, 1981 in Kaunas ) is a Lithuanian conservative politician , member of the Seimas since November 2016 .

Life

After graduating from the “Vyturio” secondary school in Kaunas, she completed a bachelor's degree in economics at the Kauno technologijos universitetas in 2010 . During this course he took part in the exchange program at the Carlos III University in Madrid . In 2011, she completed her master's degree at the Mykolo Romerio universitetas (MRU) in Vilnius . In 2013 she continued her education at the University of Cyprus and in 2014 at the University of A Coruña in Spain . In 2016 she did her PhD in economics at the MRU.

From 2007 to 2016 she was a member of the Kaunas City Council . There she headed the Tėvynės sąjunga faction .

From 2004 to 2008 she was a member of Jaunųjų konservatorių lyga . She has been a member of Lietuvos šaulių sąjunga since 2010 .

She is married. She has two children with her husband Audrius Skaistis.
