Giovanni Augustoni
Giovanni Augustoni OESA (born September 13, 1770 in Gabbio, Diocese of Como , † March 23, 1839 in Rome ) was an Italian bishop of the Curia .
Life
He entered the order of the Augustinian Hermits and was ordained a priest on July 14, 1793 . After he had obtained his master's degree in theology on May 4, 1805, he took on the task of rain in the Augustinian convents in Fermo , Florence and Rome. On August 18, 1827, Pope Pius VIII appointed him sacristan of His Holiness and on September 28 of the same year titular bishop of Porphyreon . The episcopal ordination donated him on October 4, 1829 Cardinal Giacinto Placido Zurla OSB ; Co- consecrators were the Curia Archbishops Albertino Bellenghi OSB and Costantino Patrizi Naro .
