Giovanni Battista Rabino
Giovanni Battista Rabino (born December 15, 1931 in Montaldo Scarampi , † March 12, 2020 in Asti ) was an Italian politician ( Democrazia Cristiana , later Partito Popolare Italiano ) and union official .
Life
From 1983 to 1992 he was a member of the Chamber of Deputies . He was then a senator from 1992 to 1994 . Later he was mayor of Montaldo Scarampi.
Rabino died in March 2020 at the age of 88 during the COVID-19 pandemic in Italy of complications from the COVID-19 disease. He fell ill after returning from a trip from Alassio on February 18 and had been in the intensive care unit of the Ospedale Cardinal Massaia in Asti since February 26 .
Rabino was married and had two sons.
