Giovanni Ferrini (* around 1699 in Florence ; † January 16, 1758 , ibid) was an Italian musical instrument maker . He was a student of Bartolomeo Cristofori and worked in his workshop.

After Cristofori's death in 1731, he stayed in Florence and replaced Bartolomeo Cristofori as an instrument maker at the Medicis court in Florence. He was the main beneficiary in Cristofori's first will, but in the second will he was awarded a sum of money and the main inheritance was given to members of the Mela family. He ran a workshop in Florence and the last work attributed to him was the restoration of a harpsichord made by Girolamo Zenti in 1755. This instrument is now in the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City .
