Giovanni Korompay
Giovanni Korompay (born April 26, 1904 in Venice , † March 22, 1988 in Rovereto ) was an Italian painter of Futurism .
Life
Korompay joined the Futurists together with his brother Francesco after the First World War and founded the Gruppo futurista veneziano with Loredana Tron and his wife Magda . He exhibited his works in numerous exhibitions. He took part in the Venice Biennale in 1926, 1936, 1942, 1960 and 1968, the Rome Quadriennale in 1935 and 1943 and the Ca'Pesari in 1933, 1936, 1954 and 1960. After the end of the Second World War, Korompay moved to Bologna and organized the Mostra nazionale della pittura e scultura futuriste there together with Enrico Prampolini .
