Gisèle Pascal

Gisèle Pascal (born on 17th September 1921 as Giselle Marie Madeleine Tallone in Cannes , died on 2. February 2007 in Nîmes ) was a French actress .

The former lover of the Prince of Monaco , Rainier III , was married to the actor Raymond Pellegrin (1925-2007). Her daughter Pascale Pellegrin (born 1962) is also an actress.

She already played in the 1940s with Marc Allégret (The Girl from Arles; Lunegarde) and Marcel L'Herbier (La vie de Bohème). She had her breakthrough as cheeky Christine in 1948 in The Great Miss (Mademoiselle s'amuse) by Jean Boyer , but her most famous film role is also the mistress of a monarch , that of Louise de La Vallière , Maîtresse Louis XIV , in Sacha Guitry's Versailles - Kings and women .
