Gisela Büttner (born April 27, 1927 in Halle (Saale) ; † November 3, 2015 in Kaiserslautern ) was a German politician ( CDU ).

Life

Büttner attended the elementary school in Halle from 1933 to 1937 and in 1945 passed her Abitur at the secondary school of the Francke Foundation . Then she studied law and political science in Halle where she passed the first state examination in 1949. She began her legal clerkship in Saxony-Anhalt. In 1951 she moved to the free west and passed the second state examination in 1954 in Zweibrücken. In 1961 she became a regional court advisor and a year later a district court advisor in Kaiserslautern. In 1987 Büttner was awarded the Federal Cross of Merit, 1st Class . She had already received the Federal Cross of Merit on ribbon in 1977.

politics

Büttner joined the GDR CDU in 1945 and was a member of the board of the CDU local association VI in Halle / Saale. In 1966 she joined the CDU in Kaiserslautern. In 1971 she took over the chairmanship of the Kaiserslautern-Stadt district association and was elected to the city ​​council in 1974. From 1971 to 1991 she was a member of the Rhineland-Palatinate state parliament . There she was Landtag Vice President from 1983 until she left parliament.

In 1984 she was a member of the 8th and in 1989 the 9th Federal Assembly .
