Gisela Konrath (born November 20, 1947 in Hameln ) is a German politician ( CDU ) and former member of the Lower Saxony state parliament .
Konrath studied economics and social sciences. Until her election to the state parliament, she worked as a vocational school teacher. Since July 2005 she has also been the sole shareholder of F. Breuhan GmbH. She has a child.
From 1991 to 2001 Konrath was councilor for the city of Hanover . Since 2001 she has been a member of the regional assembly of the Hanover region . She has been a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament since 2003; she was elected as a direct candidate in the Hanover-Buchholz state electoral district. She is the spokeswoman for the penal system and criminal assistance for the CDU parliamentary group in Lower Saxony. In the state election in 2013 it did not happen again.
