Gisela Neubauer

Gisela Neubauer (born November 18, 1937 in Nordhofen ) is a German politician ( CDU ).

Life

Neubauer attended the Oberhaid elementary school and the district vocational school of the Unterwesterwaldkreis (housekeeping department) Siershahn while she was doing a housekeeping apprenticeship in the Mausmühle in Nordhofen. She graduated as an assistant in housekeeping and then attended the Montabaur agricultural school. Later she worked as a housewife.

politics

In 1968 she joined the CDU and was district chairman of the CDU Rhein-Hunsrück from 1989 to 1993. She was chairwoman of the women's union in the Emmelshausen community and in 1973 became chairwoman of the CDU women's association Rhein-Hunsrück. From 1984 she was a member of the Rhein-Hunsrück district council.

In 1987 she was elected to the eleventh state parliament of Rhineland-Palatinate . She replaced Klaus Töpfer , who had not accepted his mandate. She was a member of the state parliament for two electoral terms until 1996. In the 11th electoral term she was a member of the parliamentary committee for women's issues, the committee for economy and transport, the petitions committee and the electoral review committee. In the 12th electoral term she was a member of the Committee on Economics and Transport and the Committee on Petitions.

In addition, she volunteered in a large number of associations.
