Gisela Rink (born December 31, 1951 in Völklingen ) is a German CDU politician and was a member of the Saarland state parliament from 1994 to 2017 .

Rink attended the Fürstenhausen elementary school , the Völklingen secondary school and the technical college until 1967 . From 1968 to 1971 she successfully graduated from the state college for social education . Following the exam, she worked from 1971 to 1994 as the director of the St. Josef daycare center in Saarbrücken-Malstatt.

Party career, offices and mandates

Rink has been a member of the CDU since 1974 and has been chairwoman of the CDU local association Völklingen-Fürstenhausen since 1993. From 1999 to 2005 she was deputy chairwoman of the city association and since 2005 she has been chairwoman of the city association in Völklingen.

Since 1994 she has been deputy district chairwoman of the CDU Saarbrücken-Land, member of the Völklingen city ​​council .

From 1994 to 2017 Rink was a member of the Saarland state parliament. There she chaired the Committee on Education, Culture and Science and was a member of the Committees on Justice, Constitutional and Legal Issues, Election Examination and Health and Social Affairs.
