The Gislaveds Sportklubb is a Swedish sports club from Gislaved founded in 1952 , which is best known for its ice hockey teams. The first team has been playing in the HockeyTrean Södra C Vår relay , Region Syd of the fifth-class Division 3 since 2015 .
history
Gislaveds SK was founded in 1952. The team played from 1967 (with a one-year break) in the second-rate Division 2 . In 1975 the club was included in the new second division, Division 1 , from which he was relegated at the end of the 1975/76 season and mostly played in the now third division Division 2 in the following years.
In 1999, the first team from Gislaved managed to return to the second division, which was renamed Allsvenskan at the same time . Between 1999 and 2002 , the Gislaveds SK held in this division, before relegation to the now third division Division 1 followed.
In the 2002/03 season , the team rose to the end of the season in the now fourth-class Division 2. Two years later, in the relegation of the 2004/05 season , he returned to Division 1. In the 2011/12 season , Gislaveds SK was relegated to Division 2 again, before another relegation to the fifth-class, regionally organized Division 3 in 2015 followed.
