Giulio Cesare Corradi (* around 1650 ? In Parma ; † 1702 in Venice ?) Was an Italian librettist .

Life

Little is known about Corradi's life. Between 1674 and 1702 he wrote 22 libretti for Venetian opera houses . a. were set to music by Ziani , L Grenzi and Albinoni .

style

Corradi's libretti are characterized by lively actions and z. T. spectacular effects. Most of the pieces deal with historical material.
