Giuseppe "Pino" Canale (born March 17, 1977 in Genk ) is a former Belgian football player of Italian origin. The left-footed player mainly played in the central midfield.

Career

Giuseppe Canale began his professional career with Roda Kerkrade in the Dutch honor division and was unable to assert himself after going through all the youth teams for the Belgian 1st division participant KRC Genk .

In the 1997/98 season Canale moved to FC Emmen in the Eerste Divisie . There he drew attention. The Westphalian second division club FC Gütersloh signed him for € 100,000, but rose from the second division this season.

The following season Canale moved into the winter break for the Westphalian club LR Ahlen and managed with this in the relegation matches promotion to the 2. Bundesliga . After a year and a half in Ahlen, he moved to the Westphalian regional list SC Paderborn 07 .

Canale switched to the Belgian second division team RFC Liège in summer 2008 via the stations FC Sachsen Leipzig , 1. FC Bocholt , Fortuna Düsseldorf and VfB Lübeck . In the 2009/10 season he was also deputy captain of the first team.

Canale ended his career in the 2010/11 season with the Belgian amateur club KSK Tongeren in the fourth division.
