Giuseppe Pattoni (born July 7, 1926 in Milan ; † August 29, 1999 there ) was an Italian mechanic and entrepreneur.

Pattoni was initially a team racing driver and in 1957 Cecil Sandford's chief mechanic at FB-Mondial in the motorcycle world championship . In 1957, together with Lino Tonti , he founded the Paton motorcycle manufacturer , which initially dealt with the production of small-volume racing motorcycles. After Tontis left, he was the sole owner of the company, but worked full-time as a mechanic for Giorgio Pianta . Pattoni designed all parts of the motorcycles himself and became known for his high-performance constructions. In 1970 he designed a four-valve cylinder head and 1976 he showed a groundbreaking V4 - two-stroke engine .
