Giuseppe Pellegrini (screenwriter)

Giuseppe Pellegrini (born October 25, 1925 in Genoa , † July 1991 ?) Was an Italian screenwriter and film director .

Life

From 1941 to 1943 Pellegrini attended acting courses at the “Teatro sperimentale” in Florence, where the family moved in his childhood, and then played in various ensembles. As an actor he can be seen in the Florence episode of Luchino Visconti's Paisà . He also wrote short stories and worked on scripts for photo novels . In 1958 he began working for the film when he was working as an assistant director for Alberto Principe ; more often, however, he wrote scripts until 1970, mostly for Renato Polselli . In 1967 he directed Gli angeli del fango about the flood disaster in his adopted hometown, in which he also held numerous functions and the official producer Bellincioni identifies as director. In 1972 it was co-directed with Principe, and in 1973 another largely unnoticed work under the pseudonym M. Mollin. Finally, in the 1980s, Pellegrini wrote for Franco Lo Cascio's porn films .
