The Gjelsida ( Norwegian for canyon side ) is a mountain group in Queen Maud Land, East Antarctica . It is part of the Smedfjella in the center of the Sør Rondane Mountains and is located on the western flank of Gjelbreen .

Scientists from the Norwegian Polar Institute named it in 2017 based on the name of the neighboring glacier.
