The Gladmecke is a 558 m long, orographically right tributary of the Ruhr . The stream flows completely in the district of Assinghausen , a district of the North Rhine-Westphalian city of Olsberg , Germany .

The stream rises on the western flank of the Heidkopf at an altitude of 503 m above sea level. NHN . It flows off in a predominantly west-south-westerly direction and joins the federal highway 480 at 354 m above sea level. NHN on the right into the Ruhr. With a height difference of about 149 m, the mean bed slope is 267 ‰. The catchment area of around 25.3 hectares is drained to the North Sea via the Ruhr and Rhine .
