Glasslip ( Japanese グ ラ ス リ ッ プ , Gurasurippu ) is the title of an anime television series from 2014 and an associated manga and light novel series. The work can be classified into the genres of romance and drama.

content

The story revolves around the schoolgirl Tōko Fukami ( 深水 透 子 ) and her four friends, who often spend their time in Café Kazemichi, where the cheerful Hiro Shirosaki ( 白 崎 祐 ) also works as a waitress. Tōko himself is in the final year of school and is studying in her parents' glass studio. When the distant Kakeru Okikura ( 沖 倉 駆 ) comes to school and seeks contact with Tōko, he brings unrest to the group of five friends. Kakeru approaches Tōko because he senses that, like him, she sometimes has visions of the future. This usually happens when Tōko sees glittering glass. But Yukinari Imi ( 井 美 雪 哉 ) is in love with Tōko, just couldn't confess it to her. Yanagi Takayama ( 高山 や な ぎ ) in turn is in love with Yukinari and is supported by her friend Tōko. When Yukinari finally confesses his love to Tōko, Tōko finally rejects him - she has no feelings for him and doesn't want to stand in Yanagi's way. At the same time, Hiro confesses his love to the quiet, well-read Sachi Nagamiya ( 永 宮 幸 ) - the fifth in the circle of friends. Although everything turns out less badly than feared, Tōko has visions that her friends will be sad in the near future.
