Gliese 393 is a red dwarf star in the constellation Sextant . With an apparent magnitude of 9.65 mag, the star shines far too weakly to be seen with the naked eye. As a small star, it has about 41% the mass and radius of the Sun, but only 2.35% of its luminosity .
