In the next few years she appeared in the opening act for Ray Charles , Ella Fitzgerald and Billy Eckstine , but found hardly any opportunities to perform in the 1970s; In 1975 she was able to record another album for ABC . It was only in the 1980s that she managed to get back to her career. Since 1989 she released other albums with Muse Records ; in the 1990s her song "Speaking of Happiness" was used in the films ((Red Rock West)) and Seven and U-Turn - No way back and for a car advertisement.
