Gnawa Diffusion is a world music group that was founded around the singer Amazigh Kateb in June 1992 in Grenoble . Kateb is the son of the Algerian writer Kateb Yacine . His texts are in Arabic, French and English. The group's North African-inspired music is based on Chaabi , Gnawa , Rock and Reggae .
