GoMentum Station is a large auto test area for self-driving cars and connected cars with a network of 19.6 miles of paved roads, operated under the responsibility of the Contra Costa Transportation Authority (CCTA) with partners from the auto industry and research. The test area is a civilian use of Inlandesgebietes the Concord Naval Weapons Station represents one since 1942 for the Second World War built, large ammunition depot of the US Navy in Concord , Contra Costa County , California , in the ammunition for the Pacific Fleet of the United States for its war against Japan was delivered by rail, stored and transferred to ships in Port Chicago.

Industrial partners included Mercedes-Benz and Honda .
