Ioannis Plakiotakis

Ioannis Plakiotakis ( Greek Ιωάννης Πλακιωτάκης , born July 10, 1968 in Athens ) is a Greek politician and has been a member of parliament for the New Democracy (ND) since 2004 .
Past life and education
Plakiotakis studied biochemical engineering at the University of Wales and completed a master's degree in the same subject at the University of London and a further master's degree in business administration at City University London.
Political career
In the Greek parliamentary elections in 2004, 2007, 2009, 2012 and 2015 he was elected as a member of the New Democracy party in the Lasithi constituency. Between 2007 and 2009 he was Deputy Minister of Defense in the Karamanlis II cabinet and from 2014 to 2015 he was Deputy Minister of Labor in the Samaras cabinet . In February 2015 he became general secretary of the group. From November 23, 2015 to January 11, 2016, he was the interim chair of the Nea Dimokratia.
