Clint Lowery sings all the songs and also played all the guitars and the bass for six songs . Wolfgang Van Halen appears as a guest musician , who played the drums on all tracks and the bass on the remaining four songs. reception

Matthias Weckmann from the German magazine Metal Hammer described God Bless the Renegades as a "strong, varied debut work that only lacks the big hits". The best moments are when Lowery "presents new musical sides". Weckmann awarded 5.5 out of seven points. Ronny Bittner from the German magazine Rock Hard, on the other hand, described the music on the album as “unsurprising modern groove rock”. Producer Baskette has "accurately balanced the sound between fat and pleasing". The American rock radio stations would be "happy about new food". Bittner awarded seven out of ten points. According to Sebastian Berlich from the German magazine Visions , Lowery let the "chance for creative emancipation slip by in favor of a greasy modern-rock ego trip". Berlich awarded four out of twelve points for “formulaic, inflated radio skirt”.
