Godehard Wolpers

Godehard Wolpers (born May 7, 1967 ) is a German television producer .

Life

Wolpers studied German and political science in Cologne . In 1990 he worked as a student assistant at WDR , where he met Herbert Feuerstein , for whom he provided material and finally worked together in the production of the Schmidt show .

Wolpers became known for the first time through the program in which he was "beaten" after the exclamation "Wolpers!" As an alleged scapegoat for mishaps in the respective program by Harald Schmidt and Herbert Feuerstein . Wolpers was editor of Schmidt One another and was involved in almost all of the production's programs.

He later worked on a number of comedy formats . At Sony Pictures he was responsible for productions such as Nikola , Ritas Welt and Mein Leben und Ich . Also on the series Bad Girls , Attention! He was involved in Hartwich and programs with Bülent Ceylan . In 2009 Wolpers switched to the Cologne-based company Brainpool as a producer .

Wolpers is married and has three children.
