Godfrey Egbon

Godfrey Egbon (* 1991 in Vienna ) is a former Austrian model and musician of Nigerian descent.

Career

Egbon first gained attention in 2009 when he collaborated with British photographer Anthony Gayton. The result of the photo shoot was then exhibited for several months at the exhibition "The Portrait" in the Kunsthalle of the Museumsquartier in Vienna. He generated further media attention through a collaboration with the actor and photographer Erich Schleyer , with whom he and his two brothers Ketson and Harrison opened the exhibition "Vienna Turns Black" in 2010. His Austria-wide breakthrough came with a nationwide advertising campaign in 2012 for Light for the World - Christoffel Development Cooperation, which he supports as a child sponsor . Shortly after the campaign was published, he starred as the protagonist in a well-known commercial for Media-Saturn-Holding .

In March 2013 he made a guest appearance as a male model at the finals of Austria's Next Top Model .

Egbon has already worked with photographers such as Andreas H. Bitesnich and Manfred Baumann . He also modeled for the Life Ball , Roberto Cavalli Fashionshow, Bucherer AG , ATV , Palmers and as a testimonial for Merkur . For example, he had dance assignments for Schwarzkopf .

At the end of 2013, the German DJ duo Bodybangers became aware of Egbon. Together with him and the Kazakh singer Victoria Kern, they recorded a cover for the song No Limit by 2 Unlimited , in which he did the rap part. The track was released on February 8, 2014.
