Maypole in Goldach

Goldach is a district of the Upper Bavarian community Hallbergmoos .

Formation of Goldach

The place arose from a farmstead built in 1851 on the "Districtstraße" between Erding and Neufahrn , which at that time still belonged to today's Notzing district . In May 1859, the court owner Ulrich Grabmüller received permission from the Notzing community to expand his property with a lime kiln. One of the most important building materials of the time, slaked lime , was produced from the limestones , which were probably brought from the Isar near Grüneck by carts , by heating the limestones to 900 ° C. The quick lime was used as a raw material for mortar, for plastering and for lime paint. It is not known exactly how long the Goldacher lime kiln was in operation. Around 1865 the then owner Alois Söllner expanded the farm to include an inn. When Alois Söllner sold the property in 1871, the name Goldach was used for the first time as the new owner's place of residence. The name comes from the stream of the same name that runs past the property. Goldach was part of the Notzing community until 1978 . This was dissolved in 1978 in the course of the regional reform in Bavaria and the district of Goldach was incorporated into Hallbergmoos.

To the southwest is the Hausler lake .
