Golden Ring of Honor of the City of Hof

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Golden Ring of Honor of the City of Hof is a ring of honor given to personalities who, with their life's work and high level of commitment, have worked for the well-being and reputation of the City of Hof and its citizens. Along with the Medal of Honor and the Golden Citizen's Medal, it is one of three awards for special services to the city's well-being and reputation. The Golden Ring of Honor is independent of honorary citizenship. It can be given to people who do not live or have not lived in Hof. The award is based on a city council resolution and consists of a gold seal ring with the city's coat of arms embossed on it and a certificate.
