The 1.76 meter tall defender began his career at Club Atlético Peñarol in 2001, then moved to El Tanque Sisley in 2002 and joined Apertura 2003 Liverpool Montevideo a year later . In 2004 he played 12 league games (no goal) for the club. From there it was on his way in the 2004/05 season with the Italian club SSC Venice , for which he 27 games (one goal) in the Series B completed. He then returned to Liverpool in 2005 . There he was still part of the team in Apertura 2006. In this last half series he was twice for the Montevideans in Uruguay's top division on the court. He continued his sporting career in the 2006/07 season on loan in Europe. There he was in the Liga BBVA in 19 games of the Segunda División and six matches in the national cup for Real Valladolid on the field. He then moved to the 2007/08 season within the league for Cadiz FC , where he was used in 21 second division games and two Copa del Rey matches. He did not score a goal at any of the two stations on the Iberian Peninsula. In the 2008/09 season, after the two loan deals had ended, he was again under contract in the 2008/09 season with Liverpool in Montevideo (three goalless appearances in the Apertura 2008) and played for Racing Club de Montevideo in the 2009/10 season ( three games in the Clausura 2009, one in the Liguilla Pre Libertadores ), for which he was also active in two clashes of the Copa Libertadores 2010 . His path led him to the following season within the Uruguayan capital to the league rivals Wanderers . There he played 22 or 20 matches in the Primera División in the 2010/11 season, depending on the sources.
