Die Stewardessen is a documentary-style Swiss erotic comedy from 1971. It was directed by Erwin C. Dietrich . The advertisement added the tagline "They fly through the air, like birds" to the film title .

content

The Stewardesses is an episode film about the amorous affairs of the three stewardesses Evelyn, Ingrid and Jenny. In each of the cities that the three stewardesses' plane flies to, a new sexual adventure ensues.

Remarks

In the same year, director Erwin C. Dietrich filmed the film Blood Young Seducers , which was also filmed in the style of a factual report , with largely the same crew and parts of the cast (Steeger, Traeger, Wilczewski) . Both films are thus in the tradition of the successful schoolgirl report . Director and author Dietrich used the pseudonyms Michael Thomas (director) and Manfred Gregor (screenplay) for the film . The film was produced by VIP . Initially, it was approved from 18 years of age, a re-evaluation by the FSK lowered the approval age to 16 years.

In order to spice up the film and to legally offer the cinema audience some pornography , some Danish porn film sequences were installed in the background of a scene set in Copenhagen, with disparaging comments from a female voice. real stewardesses protested against the film in Munich.

In the USA the film was offered in a dubbed version under the title The Swingin 'Stewardesses by the distribution company Hemisphere Pictures , since 1979 it has been released on video by several providers and since 2006 also on DVD under titles such as Naked Stewardesses or Sweet Sensations . There is an uncut version of 80 minutes and an edited version of 71 minutes. The reportage character of the film was picked up by the UK distributor through the title Stewardesses Report .

German synchronization

Like many of these films, Die Stewardessen was recorded without sound and then dubbed. Involved voice actors include Arne Elsholtz , Thomas Danneberg , Joachim Kemmer , Andreas Mannkopff (who speaks here himself) and Friedrich W. Bauschulte .

criticism

“A few naked girls and many postcard images of major European cities are the visual ingredients of a film about the affairs of three stewardesses. - We advise against "
