Goofy and Max (original title: Goof Troop ) is an animated series by the Walt Disney Company (1990s) with the anthropomorphic dog Goofy , best known from Mickey Mouse comics , and his son Max in the leading roles. The series shows everyday problems while acting like a sitcom , which is unusual for a children's series . It was first broadcast in German on Super RTL / RTL .

content

Goofy and his son Max move to Goofy's former hometown of Hundshausen. By chance, the two of them quartered next to Goofy's old friend Karlo . He is not very happy about it and now tries to live more badly than right with Goofy. Karlo also has a family ( Karla , his wife; Karabinchen , his little daughter; KJ (Karlo Junior), his son). Max also finds his first new friend here: KJ. They understand each other immediately and from now on experience many adventures together.

In 1995 the movie Goofy came out. In this Max falls in love with a girl whom he lies to about a concert appearance. When Goofy finds out about it, he believes his son is already on the way to the electric chair. He takes him on a road trip to mend their relationship. When he discovers that Max is cheating on him, Goofy is horrified. In a roundabout way, however, they still get to their concert appearance.

people

Goofy is a clumsy man who drives his neighbors crazy without wanting to. In addition, he is a little too naive, which means he is repeatedly ambushed to the disadvantage of his neighbor Karlo.

Max is a lively little teenager who loves to hang out with his best friend KJ every day. He is intelligent compared to his father and can handle any situation. Even if his father is very embarrassing to him at times, he always sticks to him. In school he is not well regarded as the "best student". He is suppressed and teased by some because he is friends with KJ.

Karlo is a rather lazy used car dealer. In doing so, he is constantly cheating on all buyers of his cars and collecting huge amounts of money. He doesn't like Goofy at all. Goofy does not know this, however. Carlo's family, especially his wife Karla, can hardly bear his laziness. So it is hardly surprising if there are constant arguments.

KJ is Max's best friend. In contrast to his father Karlo, he is rather calm and nice. He could never cheat or hurt anyone. He is plump like his father and has a similar position in school to Max.

Karla is Carlo's wife. She is the boss in the house and determines where to go, even if Karlo doesn't want to admit it. She can hardly stand Carlo's laziness any more. Yet they love one another.

Karabinchen is Karlos little daughter and the little sister of KJ. She prefers to annoy her father Karlo or annoy her big brother KJ. But she definitely wants to be the center of attention.

Mausi is Max and his father's house cat. Although rarely shown in the series, she can sometimes annoy Karlo's dog Cesar, although cats are said to be at a disadvantage compared to dogs.

Cesar is Karla's house dog. Although he is superior to cats, he unfortunately has to endure the harassment of Mausi. In the episode Gold in Karlos Garten he somehow found gold dust, which Karlo became aware of and with the support of Goofy found a gold nugget in the course of the episode.
