Mark Watters
Mark E. Watters (born May 25, 1955 in Irving , Texas ) is an American composer .
Life
Mark E. Watters grew up in Irving, Texas and graduated from MacArthur High School in 1973 . He then studied music at the University of Southern California . He distinguished himself as music director for both the 1996 Olympic Games and the 2002 Winter Olympics , for which he also received an Emmy . During his time at Disney in particular , he composed the music for cartoons such as Goofy & Max , Bonkers, the cunning lynx of Hollywood and Aladdin, as well as for cartoons such as Jafar's Return , Aladdin and the Thief King and Winnie the Pooh - Honey Christmas Season .
Since December 5, 1981, Watters is married to the singer Vanessa W. Vandergriff.
