Gopprechts is a village in the municipality of Waltenhofen in the Oberallgäu district . It is located on the southern edge of the community near Niedersonthofen . Gopprechts is located at 850 meters above sea level in a strongly hilly landscape of the lower freshwater molasse above Niedersonthofen. In addition to the road connection in the direction of Niedersonthofen and Eckarts, there is a connection via the nearby free law to Akams .

St. Rochus and Wendelin.

Gopprechts belonged to the Free in the Allgäu of the county of Eglofs , where in a one-time process in the HRR a farming village managed to achieve a legal status similar to the free imperial cities and to maintain it until 1806.
