Goran Kartalija (born January 17, 1966 in Kljajićevo ) is a former Austrian football player and today's coach.
Club career
Kartalija came to Austria for the Wiener Sport-Club from the former Yugoslavia in the 1991/1992 season .
In the following season 1992/1993 he moved to Upper Austria to LASK where he became one of the strongest liberos in the league .
National team
Under coach Herbert Prohaska Kartalija came on June 27, 1996 to his national team debut in a friendly against Switzerland . Another friendly against the Czech Republic and two qualifying games for the 1998 World Cup against Latvia and Slovenia followed .
He played a total of 4 international matches for the Austrian national team .
