Gordon Day
Gordon Day ( Gordon Raymond Day; born January 4, 1936 in Alexander Bay ) is a former South African sprinter .
In 1958 he was sixth over 100 yards at the British Empire and Commonwealth Games in Cardiff , won bronze over 220 yards and won with the South African team in the 4-by-440-yard relay.
At the Olympic Games in 1960 he reached the semifinals over 400 m and came in fourth place with the South African Tem in the 4-by-400-meter relay .
