Gordon Chamberlain

Gordon Kämmerer (* 1986 in Eisenach ) is a German actor and director .

Life

Gordon Kämmerer was born in Eisenach in 1986. After his time as assistant director at the Hans Otto Theater in Potsdam in the 2007/08 season, he studied drama at the “Hans Otto” Drama Institute at the “Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy” University of Music and Theater in Leipzig . In 2012, Kämmerer graduated and turned to film.

For his role in Dessau Dancers , which was published in 2014, Kämmerer received an award for Best Young Actor at the Saxony-Anhalt Film Art Prize in 2015 . In the series The Specialists - In the Name of the Victims , he played Gerd Zarske in the opening episode in February 2016. In the Tatort episode One Foot Seldom Comes Alone , which was first broadcast in May 2016, Kämmerer played the dancer Jonas Körner. For his role as Till in the film Rocket Perelman Chamberlain was the Max Ophüls Prize Film Festival in 2017 as Best Young Actor nomination.
